Philosophy of Business

Lukesh Consulting Group (LCG) is a Human Resource (HR) consultancy with services that range from HR outsourcing to projects as comprehensive as aligning employee performance with the Employment Branding, Customer Branding, and Organizational Branding strategies of the business.

Philosophically, LCG is driven by the beliefs that:
  1. The financial viability of a business depends on constituencies (i.e., customers, employees, and stakeholders) acting in ways that are beneficial to the organization.
  2. In order to influence constituencies to act in ways favorable to the business, management must ensure that the behaviors of employees and systems that interact with these groups produce the type of experiences that management determines will add value to the relationship.
  3. It is management’s obligation to ensure that behaviors (what we do) align with promises (what we say) in order to produce positive experiences that will add value to the relationship.
  4. Branding is the term applied to repetitive experiences that influence a constituency. Branding can produce positive or negative influences depending on the consistency of behaviors that produce the uniformity of experiences.
  5. Customers are influenced by the uniformity of Customer Branding experiences.
  6. Stakeholders (e.g., Vendors, Bankers, Shareholders, etc.) are influenced by the uniformity of Organizational Branding experiences.
  7. Employees (Management & Non-Management) are influenced by the uniformity of Employment Branding experiences.
  8. Get the Employment Branding Process “right” and all the remaining pieces fall into place.

Employment Branding Process:
  A. Values that guide human actions (e.g., Respect, Teamwork, Trust, etc.)
  B. Themes which the organization is known for (e.g., A Great Place To Work, Operational Excellence, Quality is Job #1, A Fun Work Environment, etc.)
  C. Metrics to measure progress (e.g., Retention, Satisfaction, Engagement, Suggestions, Referrals, etc.)
  D. Behaviors that produce the uniformity of experiences to make the Values and Themes come “alive” for employees in the following areas:
    1. Pre-Hire – Recruiting
    2. New Hire – Orientation & Follow-up
    3. Post-Hire Relationship Building:
      a. Compensation, Benefits, & Rewards
      b. Feedback, Recognition, Belonging, & Development
      c. Employee Accountability & Performance Measurement
      d. Management Training & Management Leading By Example

4. Discipline & Termination of Employment.

Lukesh Consulting Group offers a program of Employment Branding that is designed to bring clarity, objectivity, and consistency to the employment relationship, while dramatically improving Customer and Organizational Branding.
